After seeing military officials speak to congress, I am now feeling compelled to speak on an experience myself and three others had when we were younger. Although we were young (ages 9-11) it is an experience we still speak about to this day. It was My sister, myself and two other girls.

The information regarding time and date may be incorrect, it was so long ago I can't remember specifics but I will always remember what we saw.

We were all jumping/playing on our trampoline outside of my parent’s home. It is a home on top of one of the taller hills in our area, which is the Connecticut River Valley. It was a very cloudy night with a thin layer of clouds/fog very low in the sky. At one point we calmed down from jumping and all looked up at the same time due to a light coming from above us, I thought I remembered a very light sound (sounding almost like one of those new hybrid Nissans) however my sister doesn't remember any noise. A very low object probably only about 250-600 ft above us, it was below the clouds. Due to the distance above us it is hard to determine a size for it, if I had to estimate I’d say maybe 200-300ft from each corner. The object was hovering at a crawling pace. It was a triangle that had 3 large white lights coming from each corner there were also different colored lights coming down from the sides. The 3 white lights were especially bright I distinctly remember them kind or reflecting off the clouds in a way. This detail is the one I remember the most, it gave the craft a kind of back-lit effect.
All of us saw it and ran inside screaming to our parents, from what I remember they laughed at us thinking we were joking. We grabbed my sister’s digital camera and went back outside to get a picture. With about 20 seconds from the moment the craft left our eyesight to when we were back outside with a camera it was gone. At the pace it was going when we saw it the craft should’ve still been in sight.

Even though we were young and no longer have a relationship with the two other kids we were with that night, anytime my sister or I see one of them and bring it up they always remember. These details are very iffy including the date due to how long ago it was. Another detail that is very rough is the estimation of different sizes or distances I have a hard time doing that now as an adult, I can't imagine I was better at doing so at 9. My family has always had animals at this point in time I believe we had rodents, bunnies, and a dog. I don’t remember any of them acting any sort of strange way or making noise. However we were not paying attention to them. I would like to note my childhood home is about 25 miles away from Groton sub-base, I also live about 7 miles as a crow flies from the Chester airport. I don't know if these are important to note, but figure I would.
