Large triangular shaped ship hovered in the sky, no noise, deep black…

I had stepped outside to get some fresh air on my deck… as I turn around while looking at the sky, I'm 5 feet from stepping back into my home and I see a large triangular shaped ship move towards the west. As I pause to watch the ship it comes to a stop and stops midair, no noise, no lights. The clouds betray its presence. As I continue staring at it… it starts ascending straight up until I can't see it any longer. However, before it disappeared out of sight, the last thing I saw was what seemed to be atmospheric disturbance; these 3 rib like structures appeared very high in the sky on each side of the ship. It was the most amazing sight and craft I'd ever seen. This was not a jet sized craft… it was huge; as big as a football field.

Also, I'm not 100% sure about the date.
