Unknown craft hovered at treetop level above myself & a friend

My friend and I were on his property moving some equipment a month prior when he mentioned that he's been seeing an orb in the air every night for the past few weeks. It would rise around 7-7:30pm and descend anywhere from an hour to 2 hours later. The orb, when viewed from his property, was in a NW direction. Towards Statesboro roughly. I had seen the orb myself probably 5 times since the night he told me about it. It would rise up above the tree top level and sit stationary for an hour or more then slowly descend until it would disappear from view. Neither of us had any idea how far away this orb was but we figured it was at least as far away as Statesboro, which is around 12-15 miles away. My friend was so used to seeing the orb that he didn't pay attention to it anymore. Since the newness hadn't worn off on me, I would watch it a good bit when I'd go over there.

One night in August of '23, I was watching the orb right after I got to his house. This was around 9pm. I noticed a smaller, but brighter, light beside it. This light looked just like it was traveling toward my friend's property. I called to my friend, told him what I was seeing and he came over and stood beside me. Sure enough, this new light was headed straight towards us in a direct line. I don't know how long it took to get to us but it was under a minute. We could not make out the shape of what we now realized was a craft until it was directly above us. It hovered above us a few feet higher than treetop level. He has full grown pecan trees in his yard and the craft was at least as high.

The shape of the craft was triangular and it was massive. I would guess around 100ft per side. I could not make out the color of it because there were huge strobe lights underneath the craft that were shining down at us sort of blinding us. Although I cannot remember shielding my eyes nor the area around us being lit up. The craft made no noise other than a 'whooshing' like sound. It was very quiet to be so huge. It hovered above us maybe 10 seconds and then slowly started to move on past us in the same direction. Then, suddenly, it increased speed until it was out of sight in no more than 3-4 seconds.

I don't know what me and my friend saw but I have never seen anything close to it. Ever. And I know for a fact what I saw. The weird thing is that I never told anyone until weeks later. It's like the entire incident was wiped from my memory for a while. My friend said the same thing. We didn't talk about it between ourselves until maybe a week later. I thought about my phone during the entirety of the incident but, for some reason, never pulled it out to record anything. I believe I was just too amazed at what I was witnessing.

The area in and around Leefield, GA has some really strange things happening in the air at night. I've seen a lot in the sky around that area for 20+ years. Things I couldn't explain and chalked up to my eyes playing tricks on me. I don't know if there are ley lines through that area or not but it's very strange. And these weird sightings seem to be occurring with greater frequency in the past year.
