USO submerged just under surface of lake water.

I and my friend were on a raft in the middle of the lake. Water was calm and smooth as glass. No wind. Sunny day. No one for miles. A large (30’ diameter) drain effect began to turn slowly in the lake about 500’ from us. Very odd way the water moved. Large amount of water swirling like a drain does, but seemed slower than physics would allow. It came to a slow stop. The water then churned and bubbled and was being displaced by a large craft moving just under the surface. It noticed us on our motionless raft. Then sharply turned exactly in our direction and came straight for the raft. When within 20-50’ of the raft, it dipped lower and I believe it went underneath the raft. We frantically paddled back to shore and hiked out of there to the car asap. It must have been around the size of a full sedan or maybe larger, judging the width of the headwater and amount of water displacement.
