I observed an aircraft with two bright lights to be stagnant and hovering over my pasture approximately 100' in the air.

I observed an aircraft to be hovering approximately 100' above the ground in my pasture. It did not make a sound. It was noticed by the two bright headlights and I also noted it was not moving. The aircraft quickly dropped to hover 20' above the ground. As I approached in my vehicle, to obtain a better view, the aircraft shot straight up into the air and sped off towards the east of the location
