Smooth BLK oval object approached and scanned us as while night-walking near our home, again through my kitchen window the next night.

I had just quit my job as an over-the-road trucker and Linda had just got off work at a local restaurant when we decided to go for a night walk, smoke cigarettes, and talk about our day (I spent it job hunting). We lived in a newly built home at the end of an undeveloped dead end (now a complete street) in a new neighborhood subdivision. We kinda had that part of the street to ourselves since the only other homes near ours were still being constructed.

As we were walking away from our home (in the street and near a lit streetlamp), a Stingray or teardrop-shaped nonshiny black object silently lowered down in front of both of us as we were walking (and now stopped and standing), next to each other.

It emitted no sound so it was totally silent, it was smooth and did not reflect light. It hung in front of us absolutely motionless for what seemed like 10 seconds, and then "bathed" us in a blue light. It was a flat beam, almost like a scanner beam, it went up and down on both of us, and when the beam hit my eyes, I could see every particle of dust from the road suspended in it.

It was quick, the light then stopped and this object rose slowly and smoothly back into the night sky and totally disappeared without a sound nor did we feel any air movement.

It was a warm clear night sky and no wind.

We both looked at each other and said the same exact thing at the same time, "Did you see that?"
We both ran back into the house without saying a word.

*NEXT NIGHT........

I was up late again and washing dishes because I could not really sleep when the same exact-looking object dropped down in front of the kitchen window it was now eye level with me less than two feet away, and was above the sink I was standing at. It stopped and then "bathed" me in blue light again. Same as last time, when the light hit my eyes, I could see particles suspended in the air not moving. Same as last time, the beam stopped and it smoothly went back up into the night sky.

It did not wiggle around when in front of us, this object was 10000% motionless when it stopped.

Linda still remembers me yelling up to the bedroom "Did you see that!!!"

I have a skylight in my bedroom but I chose to sleep in a windowless closet for a month after this.
I still do not like to go out at night by myself.

I, we, are still disturbed by this and would give anything for a reasonable explanation of it, but feel that is never gonna happen.

Linda and I talked about it again today and realized that our lives did take a very different turn the two years following this event. 14 years later we have become vastly different people.

Still to this day, it is very hot in my memory. I cannot remember my wifes SS#, but this always is burned in my memory.
