A blinding light shown down on my house even though there was no storm/ rain event. The light was blinding and illuminated my yard

A blinding light shown down on my house even though there was no clouds in the sky and no aircraft overhead. A chinook helicopter circled my neighborhood ten minutes after said blinding light illuminated my house for a couple of seconds. The light was brief but blinding and no noise was emitted. Dogs were barking relentlessly.
