About 8 orange orbs super high in the sky, almost in an s shape. sitting there for 30 seconds not moving

It was July 3rd, I would never forget it because of it being the day before July 4th. I remember myself and two friends seeing 8 orange orbs super high in the sky, almost in an s shape. Just sitting there for 30 seconds not moving. Then out of nowhere, flew all the way across the sky in a matter of seconds. Nothing I have ever seen move that fast, went from in sight to completely out of sight across the sky in the matter of seconds.
