White bright Orb seen traveling parallel to ground traveling northbound at an unexplainable speed.

During the summer of 2005, I was on a ride with my aunt to my grandmothers home who lived in the city of Lyford, Tx. As we drove and exited the city of Harlingen on Business 77 northbound, the darkness of the night completely covered the sky and the only lights seen were the lights from the vehicle my aunt was driving and the lights of oncoming traffic separated by about a 50 yard median of grass. I was riding in the passenger seat while we approached the city of Sebastian, Tx. I was looking out of the windshield observing the road ahead and watching the white paint marks pass that separated the 2 lane one way when I suddenly see a white illuminated orb fly at an extreme speed directly over our vehicle parallel to the ground at a guess of about 500 meters high. There was no noise, vibration, or sound barrier broken by this object. I recall the object moving so quickly that it minimized in size from the speed and amount of distance travelled over a short period of time and disappeared downward in the distance into the curvature of the earth. There were no trails left by this object and there is without a doubt nothing that could withstand the speed in which it was traveling. The object was bright white and luminous and about the size of a small car with no change in the brightness of the object as it travelled. The object did not illuminate the ground as it passed over. The object was only visible for about 3-4 seconds. The number of witnesses other than myself is unknown. I have never spoken of this incident. The object I saw is very similar to the image attached that I found on google.
