Seen with PVS7 NV googles. High speed light (not satellite, meteor or star) travel Lind from ocean and disappearing above land.

While out on the beach at OCNJ 8th street at after 4am but before 5am on 9/14/2023, I was looking out at the ocean and sky with PVS7B military surplus night vision googles. Observed plenty of planes, satellites, shooting stars, birds etc. (normal stuff). I was on vacation and was sober. I use these goggles all the time… it was not an artifact in the tube.

Witnessed / noticed large light (large dot - larger than plane or satellite) coming from direction of ocean and passing directly over head at probably high altitude and very high speed. I have no idea if it was visible to the baked eye. I tracked using goggles from my first spotting to crossing over my head and over land in just a 2-3 seconds. (Estimated hundreds and hundreds of miles) This object was moving very fast and that is why it caught my attention. This blew past any satellite etc by at least 10 times speed. After passing over at a high altitude it stopped dead in the sky for a second. I was shocked! It just stopped. There were then a series of 3 maneuvers lasting about 2-3 seconds total from point of stoping. First it arced to the right, then down left, then up right ( each in a small arc), stopping dead each time for a brief faction of a second, then it when it accellerated up and right for a split second it was gone. Possibly a slight trail when it left (maybe). These maneuvers could not have been performed by any man made or natural phenomenon I am aware of. It was very shocking to witness this, made my hair stand up on the back of my neck . I ran in to tell my wife what I witnessed.

I had searched for it in the sky by it was gone. If I would not have been looking at the sky over the ocean when it appeared, Im pretty certain I would have missed it.

No sound, no trails, no flashing, extremely fast, only one solid dot (green in NV IR).

Not a drone!

Unknown if it had lights. Was just one large dot.
