Standing on my back deck at approximately midnight having a cigarette before going to bed a green sphere appeared at tree top level

On the approximate date this object appeared above the driveway next to my home . This object wasn't there moments before. It was at treetop level. The object glowed with a light green color. It was about 10 foot in diameter and Only 40 feet away, it made almost no sound. a slight humm was all I could hear. It was extremely stable, not moving or swaying.

My first thought was that of shock or amazement. That lasted a few moments, I found it hard to believe what I was seeing. I wanted to call for my wife or grab a camera while at the same time I thought if I yelled or left it would disappear so I stayed where I was. It was as if we ( if someone or something were in the craft) were watching and observing each other. The craft stayed perfectly still all the time. Not outside propulsion source was visible, only the slight humming sound.

After about 10 or 15 minutes ( I lost track of time) The humm elevated and the craft sped off. It was gone in the blink of an eye with a speed that was indescribable. With Google earth you can see the back deck if it hasn't been changed and the driveway I'm referencing for proximity.

The strange thing is, about two weeks later I had a Stroke. Not a serious stroke. However one that effected my equilibrium. I, to this day wonder if that may have been a side effect.

Until now only Three people have been told of my experience. I was always reluctant to speak of it because of what I have heard how others were looked at and treated for bringing their experience to light.
