Large black triangle, very low, slow, and silent

I was siting in a second floor room at my father's house talking on a cordless phone with my then girlfriend. I noticed something through the window but initially did not think much of it. I eventually became curious as what I saw flying directly in the direction of the window was moving extremely slow without any noise (the window was open). I stood up and walked to the window to get a better view. What I saw was a very large black triangle, with what I recall as something like a white lit area (maybe a window) at the point of it. To this day I swear I recall seeing what appeared to be a person's shape looking out what appeared to be a lit up window. I began explaining to my girlfriend what I was looking at. I quickly ran down the stairs and out the front door of the house as it was flying over head. Outside, I witnessed the object continuing towards the south in the direction of East Longmeadow, MA, flying slow, low, and without any sound. I want to stress just how slow, low, and silent this object moved, sort of like a blimp, but looking nothing like a blimp.
