Object stayed in one place in the sky for around 20 minutes then disappeared.

Was sitting on the balcony having coffee. This object was flashing different colors and seemed to be changing shapes possibly. This stayed in one place for around 20 minutes. I had to go in to get ready for work, looked out the window and it was gone.
