I saw a light in they sky while driving to the store. I recorded it the best I could with my iPhone. I'm still unsure what this object was. The date was March 16, 2012. Time around 8:30 pm. The light was pulsing from a very bright white to red, and back to white. It was flying in a very peculiar nonsense pattern. Back and forth, up and down. It seemed to go from very far away to relatively close to my location. At times the object disappeared below the horizon. At one point it appeared to take on a blue hue instead of the white and red I was seeing. Also at one point I could make out the faint outline of a boomerang shape when it seemed to be relatively close to me.

I drove around in the direction I was filming this object after I shut my camera off. I didn't' see anything or anybody at all. Most of the area is either wooded or an open field. The object never showed itself again after shutting my camera off either.

Event occurred for about 15-20 minutes, 13 of which caught on camera.
