Orange object high in the sky traveling upward

I was driving south on I-95 near Port St John when I saw an orange object high in the sky directly above the road. It looked as if it were on fire and it was traveling upward. I turned back shortly and it was gone.

I have worked the night shift in Cape Canaveral for 6 years and driven down I95 through Port St John almost every day and have never seen anything like it.
