yellowish light, moving very slowly

i was on my deck at 6:10 in the morning looking out over lake of the ozarks. i was facing south looking at the lake and i noticed a yellowish light in the distance and it seemed to be moving upward and forward in a very slow speed. i watched it for a minute or so and decided to go in the house and get my binoculars to look at it.

i backed into the house and kept an eye on the object the whole time. i keep my binoculars right next to the door. i turned to grab the binoculars just for a second and when i turned back around the light was gone. i'm pretty certain that it was not a plane or helicopter. i did not hear any noise and it was not high enough in the air to be a plane. i believe that it was a few thousand feet above the ground. it definately was not something that i have ever seen before so i thought that i would report it.
