Bright light in seen south of johannesburg south africa

At around 20h45 my wife and I saw a red light hovering in the sky. After a few minutes, there were another 5 lights in the sky.

Some were moving up and down and others side to side. I then phoned my brother in law who witnessed the same event and that time, I saw a very big yellow oval light moving toward the red lights.

They were moving around for around 20 minutes and then they moved very fast out of view.
