Bright red light over Northern California.(non aircraft)
Bright light moving on a non-linear course from SE to NW and eventuall stopped.
The light began to dim and brighten on about a two second interval and then went dark.
Observed with binoculars. No shape could be seen. The light appeared to be a point source.
