Yellowish colored sphere at north Fort Lewis, WA

We left work and were driving on the Steilacoom-Dupont road toward Steilacoom. As we came around the bend there was a bright yellowish colored sphere hovering then slowly dissapearing behind some trees on north Fort Lewis.
