Changing coloured and shaped blobls in the night

At a birthday party (without alcohol) my friend and I saw 2 flying blobs changing shape and color in unison. We ran inside for a camera, when we returned the blobs turned white and disappeared, the video camera sadly didn’t turn on and we missed the complete event.
