Sept 2000 Wiltshire England Vivid green ball going very fast, football size RAF Lyneham approx 20 secs

Firstly I live 4 miles from RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire, England.

I was on the decking in our back garden which faces south when I saw a very vivid green ball shoot across the sky heading in the direction of RAF Lyneham.

It was going much faster than the jets go when they pass over our house.

There was no noise.

To my eyes, the ball was the size of a football and I would guess was as high as an aircraft would be if it was coming into land at RAF Lyneham.

We are also approximately 30 miles away from Bristol Airport too.
