Strange light in the sky shoot off through the sky after several minutes of hovering.

I live near the Denver Intl. Airport.

I was sitting on my front porch smoking a cigarette and watching planes take off. I saw a craft in the direction the planes were coming from. I watched it hover in place for several minutes and then shoot off out fo sight.
