Extraordinary very bright green meteor trail or falling object on vertical path to the west of Laurel Maryland USA (in the direction of Washington DC). Flamed out near the horizon. At least 15 degrees length of descent, duration 4 seconds or more 11 p.m. Jan. 03, 2004.
