I turned off my CD, and engine to make sure it wasn't a plane, and there was no sound at all.

3 lights in the distance, not moving. When the flying object flew overhead, there was no sound at all, even though it was quite low. I could only see 3 lights, all white, one left, one right, and one centre, like an elongated triangle shape. The object was seen in countryside, dark conditions on a very clear night.
