red green and white flashing light which had no movement for over 1 1/2 hours

red and green flashing light in the North east sky did not make any movement I watche it for about 1 1/2 hours and it didn't seem to move

We suspect a twinkling star was the cause of the sighting. Perhaps Sirius. It is reported to us frequently. PD
