Me and my girlfriend saw a round object out in space over the beach

We got out of the car behind our apartment. She asked me to look up in the sky. It was about about 1030 at night I looked up. She pointed up at this round object lite up , which was shaking and all of a sudden it shot off real fast way across , and then it stopped just like that and then it shot back way across again and stop just like that , and started shaking and then all of a sudden it just took off just like that very very fast !
