White circle met up with 2 more white circles, formed a triangle, flew upward into the sky

Sitting on my balcony on that rainy cloudy day, I closed my eyes then opened them and saw a white ball flying across the sky. It was flying too fast, and didn’t have any characteristics of a bird, and it was too circular and didn’t have any flashing lights like a plane would. The white ball flew from the right towards the left from my view, probably flying N, or NE through the sky.

As I watched it, from the left side towards where the ball was flying, 2 more white circles came down from the cloudy skies and stopped midair waiting for the 3rd (original ball I spotted) to rendezvous with them. The two that came down, swooped down really fast but stopped on a dime, and floated in the sky like a colon(:). The original ball flew towards the now 2 perfectly still floating balls, and stopped midair also, the change in velocity was abrupt and precise, forming a triangle.

Now as a triangle, they flew at an incredible speed I never seen before, from their still position it quickly flew to the right and dipped downward towards the ground and immediately turned upwards and flew into the cloudy sky. Again, when it flew off as a triangle, I never seen anything move as fast as it did. From a perfect standstill to flying away into the sky was less than 5 seconds.
