Glowing light moved slowing across sky and then expanded an apparatus in front of it for a few seconds until vanishing.

I work in direct to home sales where knock doors to sell my product to customers at their homes. At around 7:29 PM I was walking to another appointment when I looked up to see what I thought was pair of airplanes flying in opposite directions of each other. I kept looking at the objects because one of them looked out of place. Finally, I realized that one of the airplanes was this constant, glowing light, moving in a normal behavior pattern at high altitude, but the other light was moving slowly and irregularly from west to east direction, almost as a helicopter would. What struck me interesting or was that it was slightly hazy, but the skies were clear (the fires that have been going on where many miles north). The object continue to move forward until suddenly it seemed to unfold a sort of apparatus away from its main center in an in a fluid, yet mechanically like fashion, almost like a balloon, pushing out in front of it. For someone who lives aviation, this thing struck me as irregular and unusual, so I started filming then. The apparatus continue to be pushed out in front of the object, until slowly dissipating into the air. When I returned home, many of my colleagues, saw this as well, as we all work outside and knock doors at the same time. Many of my colleagues had talked to customers who had talked to them about it, so this was seen by many. Wanting to confirm if I was just seeing things, I went on the social media platform X, and searched “Amarillo UFO” and found several other videos, confirming the exact same thing that I filmed as well.
