Had foggy gas following it and was moving super slow. Like hovering over in front of my house.

At first I thought it was a plane but I took another look out my window and then it had this weird orange spiral thing come out of it so I thought it was a meteor or something. It was moving really really slow. Then I thought okay this is awesome I’m witnessing a meteor falling. It somehow disappeared. So I was like okay maybe I’m seeing things apparently? Brushed it off a bit but I kept looking outside only to find that same exact moving thing appear but this time it was closer. And changed from blinking bright red/orange to blinking white lights surrounding the sphere and it somehow changed size because it was MASSIVE. I thought holy shit this is weird. I ran into my kitchen because it looked like it was descending and coming closer to my house. Thank god my mom and my brother came home as this was happening because once they walked inside the door that moving thing disappeared once I had them look outside. They told me they saw something moving but that they really couldn’t figure out what it was. Before any of this happened, like 1 or 2 hours before we had a strange bird flying frantically around my front door like it didn’t know which direction to go.
