Saw this object moving VERY fast with NO sound whatsoever

Object appeared to be spherical or somewhat elongated, with a skirt at the bottom. Sun reflected off surfaces so I surmised it was made up of square panels. We often see jets landing at DIA and this was not one. It moved ten times faster and by the 4th second winked out completely. There was no contrail nor sound of any kind. Was a blue sky day and very clear. Direction was e-s-e. I estimated 5000 feet altitude. I have never seen anything like it before.
