Low altitude, diamond formation. Climbed in altitude, with one splitting off.

Headed north on 205, a low flying large diamond formation of green only lights was located to the west traveling east toward Albemarle. The formation approx was 2,000 ft alt. Climbed higher, at which point white strobes were turned on. Never red lights. One single light broke off from the formation and went solo to the southeast. The formation of 3 continues towards albemarle. Unable to locate on flight aware app or flight watch app.
