First saw orangish white lights rotating or flashing from a distance in the north sky.

Thought it was a helicopter or small plane however it did not change position as I approached. I finally got to it and could see it was a large triangle shape. The moon was full and bright. The lights seemed to be moving in one direction to the right. The object was perfectly still as I passed it and stayed where it was. It was large but I couldn't get a perspective because I was trying not to drive off the road.
