Saw 17 formation N making back and forth up down mnvrs then turned S, one stopped in front of us

Three-pointed star shaped, had structure but translucent you could see through stars behind glass star like, red center light. Going about 3k-4k feet above sea at scattered cloud altitude, some did brisk up and down, forward and reverse, other odd angled movements, formation going N, they turned to W in formation and then heading S, last one stopped right in front of us for a while, we were in awe, went into the room put tv on and there were no reports, called family member abroad to see if this sighting was widely reported, picture and video camera did not pick up dim objects at a distance, and each of us drew independently what we saw, don’t remember rest of night, next morning breakfast restaurant staffed laughed when asked if others had reported it. Then in the afternoon our tour guide in Chichen Itza led us to the Temple of Venus and showed us what the Mayans reportedly saw in the sky. Same as in our drawings of the night before, look up pics of temple and see it, albeir we saw 17 of them at the same time.
