Extremely bright orb, slow moving object moving NNE.

Late summer night. Was outside relaxing when suddenly, through the treeline, and extremely bright orange and yellow morphing colored orb appeared suddenly, moving at a steady pace. The intensity of the light was much like arc light. I watched it move in a straight line in a NNE direction and then instantaneously, disappeared like a light bulb being turned off.
