Noticed moving lights that would move, then stay stationary for long periods and then form linear patterns. Some were flashing

Noticed moving lights that would move, then stay stationary for long periods, and then form linear patterns. Some were flashing at times. At times they were all moving in different directions independently and other times they would form patterns. One pattern was a formation of 3 and another was a line of 4. That would disappear and reappear in different areas.
