Moving white light that cloaked itself in a cloud on a pristine clear evening at dusk

While leaving my sister's home in Jewett, Tx which is a very rural area in central Texas at around 6pm I was walking back to my house when I noticed a moving bright white light coming from the West heading East. I thought at first this was a commercial airliner with maybe one of its landing or take off lights on. As it became nearer a small cloud developed around it and I thought the thing must be flying through a cloud and then realized to myself, wait a minute, this is a completely clear pristine evening at dusk with stars starting to appear with no clouds anywhere whatsoever. I immediately called to my wife who was trailing behind me still talking to my sister on her back deck to come quick and look at this thing in the sky. She came along with my sister, and we continued to watch the thing with curiosity and thought now that it might be the space station flying over but was confused now about the small cloud surrounding it as if it was trying to cloak the light inside of it. Now this is when it got really strange. All of a sudden as we continued to watch the cloud the light was in it then spewed out more cloud in front of it and this spewed cloud made like a cigarette smoke ring and then formed into a cone shape like a megaphone with the narrower part of the cone toward the main portion of the cloud that the light was in in as the wider part at the leading edge at the very front. When this happened, we immediately started grabbing our phones and started taking pictures and a short video. By the time we got our phones out the cloud ring and cone portion was gone being absorbed into the little cloud that appeared to be cloaking the light. I'm now thinking if any kind of craft moving forward that might leave any kind of a propulsion trail of vapor residue, or whatever would definitely be to the rear and not the front. We continued to watch this thing as it continued on without altering its course or making any noise until it disappeared. It was hard to determine just how high it was in the sky, but I'm thinking if I first thought it was a commercial plane maybe then 35,000 ft or more but actually looked a lot lower, but it crossed the dusk sky at a speed which we have seen satellites to be moving. I got a picture of the light in the cloud, and my wife also got a short video of the light in its own little cloud. In researching possible other accountings of this we have now learned many across Texas are reporting this now.
