A bright light slowly moved over the horizon toward me but slightly north it then got a bit larger then suddenly got smaller rapidly and was gone. No trail at any time.

At first I thought it was a plane I see a lot here but it was a bigger light and just one vs usually they have the few lights on the bottom so then thinking it was a launch from the cape, but there was none last night

I'm sorry I don't know much else, I am unsure about elevations and distance. Or which direction it was headed relative to me. I went out into the woods to gather more sticks for the family NY eve fire when I saw it. No phone with me so no pictures, none of the others saw it.
