It was a black triangle with yellow light followed by a white orb

So I was taking my dog out then i look towards my neighbors house and see this bright light coming towards me and it comes over the house and sits over it for about 40 mins then starts moving again it was a triangle shape and had yellow lights shining down then a few minutes after that I walk out and theres a white orb thats sitting right over the house where the triangle was and it shoots off.
