Red orb behind trees in SW sky. Moved erratically, not in a steady trajectory.

I was awake and went to check the temp in the sunroom and look at the sky. I noticed a red orb behind tall trees moving slowly, erracticaly, steadily.
Backward then upwards slowly ascending the dark sky moving east and then
climbing, then descending. Then disappeared.
