Large square orange lights with moon disappeared fast

Standing on a balcony with a friend at a hotel room on vacation, we saw large square orange lights over the ocean with a moon shaped inside of them. Then we could tell a craft left, and it disappeared really fast without any sound we asked the neighboring hotel room guy on his balcony if he seen that and he said yes, he thought he was hallucinating.
