On way to work on 29 northbound near airport noticed 3 light grey metallic saucer shaped objects in a triangular formation hovering

The craft were stationary as I watched a small plane pass them headed to the airport - they hung in the air in a non- equilateral formation of a triangle- I pulled over to take a picture but by the time I got the car pulled over and turned back to look they were gone. I am a professional who was headed to work a little after 8 am. I have never had an experience like this before - so startling as it was in bright morning light- and I felt I saw them clearly
