Sphere with three antennas

The one sphere was multi-colored, including the three antennas pointing in different directions toward the sky, and it was hovering completely still, but it appeared either electrically charge or possibly plasma or plasma-like. The sphere's three antennas retracted into the sphere, then the sphere took off with instant acceleration. It went up, instantly stopped, paused one or two seconds, and it looked about the size of a glowing red baseball, then it took off horizontally with a dark red streak with instant acceleration to warp speed, then it disappeared. It went South. My brother was driving, and I saw it first. I didn't see it arrive. The third person who saw it worked at the Forest Service in Camp Cook with my brother. My brother is dead, but I don't know if the woman is still alive.

There were electrical affects on the sphere itself, but our vehicle was not affected.
