Shapeshifting Black UFO

Black matte circular object that seemed to travel with its own direction, coming in over the roof top of the north stand, coming to ground level, changed from a sphere to a sausage shape, flew quickly back over the stand, and became a sphere again as it flew over the roof. No lights and no sound apparent. It looked 40 to 50 cm in diameter seen from our mid level flat approximately 10 meters away.
