Small orange orb seen moving slowly at low altitude.

The orb was seen coming from the direction of the ocean and was headed towards the sound (land). The object was illuminated in an orange glow until right before it started to go across the sound. The object could still be seen when the light around it went out and it appeared to be round in shape (sphere). It made no sound at all.

After the sighting we heard a lot of military aircraft in the area flying low. This could have possibly been a coincidence since there is a marine base nearby, but there was more activity on this night than others.
