Object moved quickly and appeared to change shape slightly

My dad witnessed this, but asked me to post. He said he was at the gas station and looked up because he saw a light below the clouds. He said the object moved around quickly and changed from a circle to almost a diamond shape. It zipped behind the clouds and he was unable to locate it again.
