Blueish green light appears in western sky moving east at a high rate of speed. Appeared from nowhere and then disappeared.
My son and I were looking in the west sky though a star gazing app on the phone to identify planets. We saw a blueish green light appear from nowhere. We thought it was a satellite, but it wouldn't register on the phone app, in which satellites have before. We witnessed the light traveling west to east for about 16 to 20 seconds, then it disappeared.
