Atop a hill set a saucer with its doorway open emitting a bright light which formed a triangle.

I was driving on the highway between Gila Bend and Ajo when I saw the shiny silver spacecraft. It was sitting atop a hill about 200 yards east of the road. The doorway was open from which a bright light formed a triangle in its foreground. I stopped and got out of the car. I felt excited and thrilled and was in absolute awe. I felt a strong pull to walk toward it. In 1967 'Flying Saucers' were considered science fiction; Movies about aliens and saucers aroused fear in audiences. I pondered what might happen if I decided to approach it. As a curious and adventurous person, I strongly wanted to investigate. On the other hand, I was to be married in the morning. I observed the vehicle for about 30 minutes. Nothing changed. I drove on to Ajo and got married in the morning. Still vivid in my memory is the sensation of being pulled toward the saucer as if by magnetism. At that time I taught high school Family and Consumer Sciences and held a BS in education. I find it interesting that this location is near the Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field.
