Spotted on West "O" Street and followed to NW 48th Street. Craft's Disappeared into the only cloud in the sky before cloud disappeared.

Was In Dairy Queen drive through when the Craft's approached from Southeast Downtown Lincoln and were moving towards Northwest Lincoln. The Craft's were traveling together but not in a uniform formation. They looked like button batteries, with small indented side up. There was no lights, no sound, and the Craft's were not shiny. They were dull like cement. After following around 3 miles, pulled over, got out of car to watch. It was sunny out, and one lone cloud in the sky, which they were flying towards. They flew into the cloud, but never came out from the other side. Then the cloud started evaporating. 2 Airforce Jets took off from their base a few miles away, and flew up where cloud used to be. I thought for sure it would be on the news, radio, newspaper. Never heard anything. I thought it was funny no one else was stopping to look at this anomaly. Started questioning myself and kids. But then there were the Jets. They had to have seen something also as they flew up right where the cloud had been. I'm not sure about the date or year. It could have been 90-93. I know school had just started like a week before, which would be middle or late August. It was fantastic. I've never seen anything like it since. I have seen lights, at night, way up in atmosphere which I thought were stars, but then they would move, slowly, but that's common. I just want to know if anyone else has ever seen what I described.
