Oval shaped object, and tiny red light

At some point during our drive to Hazleton from the Lehighton area, we noticed a flying object in the sky. It was a tiny bit lopsided, oval, kind of looked like the back of a car but oval, with a light on each end. I kept saying that maybe it was a blimpie or something. It was clearly flying but not fast like a plane or a drone. It was smooth and floaty and definitely moving. I thought maybe it was a google drone taking pictures but it was nighttime and already dark so that made no sense. We kept seeing it as we drove to our church. It was much lower than a plane, pretty low actually. Once we got to our destination, we noticed that a tiny red light had appeared in the sky a bit lower than the flying object, but definitely “attached” to it, connected somehow to the object, maybe it came from it. We went inside and did not see again when we came back out at around 10 PM. We did not take photos.
