Odd light that appeared as the shape of a spotlight

This is an additional report which connects to my previously submitted sighting that occurred on July 16, 1992. The connection is that I witnessed the exact same object, aside from it being a different color and closer to me. My family lived on a small farm in Jackson Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. I was 15 years old at the time, and at that time had not traveled very much outside of the area.

This sighting occurred at approximately 4:45am on Wednesday, September 2, 1992. It was the first day of my 10th grade year of high school, and filled with excitement, woke up early. I washed up, got dressed, and decided to go outside for a short walk to enjoy the cool morning air.

I opened the door to our house, which faced east-northeast. The sky was mostly cloudy but not overcast. As I stepped outside, in the sky, approximately 500-700 feet in the air, and about 1/2 mile away from me, was a light. It was identical to the same light I witnessed along with my grandmother on July 16th — it resembled a streetlamp or a light pole seen in the parking lot of a shopping center. It had two lamps that emitted light; one was brighter than the other, and neither were facing in my direction. The color of the lights were clearly white, which differed from the first one I saw a month and half earlier, which had a gold color — otherwise, this object was identical to the previous one spotted. There was no noise whatsoever, and the mist in the air allowed me to see the beams of light emerging from the lamps.

I got scared, went back inside the house, and went to lay down in bed. After a few minutes of doing that, I remembered we had a 110 camera in the house that had film in it. I snuck into the other bedroom where the camera was, being quiet as to avoid waking my infant brother (he was 4 months old at the time) and retrieved the camera. I went back outside to photograph the object, but it was gone.

With the previous sighting, my grandmother was also a witness. On this occasion, she was in the hospital with a heart condition, and I was the only person to see it.
